Day 7 – Como

Today was the most intense travel day of our trip. We woke up in Prague, and had a 10:45am flight back to Milan. We flew Wizz Air again, and I was happy with the service. Once in Milan, we rented an Audi A4 Hatchback. It was time for a roadtrip! The first stop was a grocery store […]

Day 6 – Prague

It was our last day in Prague and we had a lot to see and do. We started by walking over to the Old Town Square in the morning. It was absolutely packed. There were a lot of segway vendors and we got them to fight with each other for our business. Their original price […]

Day 5 – Prague

We took an early morning train from Budapest to Prague. The train left at 6am so it was a really early start. I slept through most of the 6.5-hour train ride. It wasn’t deep sleep though. It was pretty cool to hear the conductor announce the stops in languages that I didn’t understand. We reached Prague […]

Day 4 – Budapest

Our second day in Budapest was spent exploring the city by ourselves. We slept in a bit and started by grabbing brunch. We went to Comme Chez Soi, which is rated very highly by TripAdvisor. The lunch was amazing. We ordered 4 courses but we probably got 3 more courses thrown in for free. Each […]

Day 3 – Budapest

This was a busy day. It started with a 8am flight from Milan to Budapest via Wizz Air. The flight only cost $69 but the airline was very good. I would recommend them. Just make sure you book everything online, as purchasing things at the airport is expensive. Once we landed in Budapest, our Uber driver Alex, […]

Day 2 – Milan

We landed in Milan around noon and took the train from the airport into the city. We had some trouble getting in touch with our AirBnb host, so we decided to make the most of the situation and headed to the city centre with our luggage in tow. It helped that we packed light and only […]

Day 1 – New York City

Steven and I booked an early-morning flight from Toronto (YYZ) to New York City (ERW) to get our trip started. We booked via Porter and used their free lounge to eat cookies while waiting for the flight. Upon arriving in Newark, we took a cab to NYC. We thought the cab was ripping us off as […]

Wallpapers

I’m big on wallpapers (the digital kind, not the kind that you put on walls). The following gallery shows some of my favorite wallpapers. These are pretty high resolution; I use them on my rMBP and Apple Cinema Display. You can also find the set on Dropbox Carousel for download.

Cheers to YUI

A few days ago, Yahoo released a blog post announcing the end of active development on YUI. Having been a YUI Core Team member for the last two years (up until a month ago), I thought that I’d share my thoughts on my relationship with YUI, and the people who built it.
